2017 Reading Goals

on Reading Challenge
This post is only a minute to read

For 2017 my reading goals are somewhat similar to 2016, but I've refined them a little.

My personal goals

Challenges:

For these challenges, I am hoping to use a lot of books in my TBR, and then get the rest from the library.

When I do buy books I want to make sure my money is telling publishers that diversity, especially own voices, is important. It doesn't mean I won't read anything else, though it wouldn't be terrible if I didn't, but I'm going to use the Library or second-hand bookshops.

Books I am looking forward to in 2017:

Because of interning I have a whole bunch of books I'm really excited about but I'm not sure when I can mention them so I'm just going to list a few that aren't from my internship.
Here We Are: Feminism for the Real World edited by Kelly Jensen
Begin, End, Begin: A #LoveOzYA Anthology edited by Danielle Binks
Finding Oremere by Helen Scheuerer (I've read a draft of this and it is so good, I am so excited for it)
